July

[July, 5th]

I played baseball. I had many homeruns! Someone cried. I didn't cry. I ran fast because I exercised. My Mom cheered. Go JungWoo ! My team won !

[July, 8th]

I went to the NamSun Ice rink. Somebody fell down. I almost fell down. I am a good ice skater because I learned hockey in America. There are many people in the ice rink. It was very fun!

[July, 9th]

I went to the playground and I met my friend so I played with my friend. My friend and I caught many ants. I caught 9 ants and my friend caught 1 ant because he just looked at the many ants. But I didn't see the ant. I used my shovel.

[July, 20th] I....

I drew a monster.

I like monsters.

I like to play with my monster.

I looked at my monster.

I always looked at the monsters.

I like my monster the best.

I like monster books.

I know lots of monsters.

I have monster books.

[July, 27th]

I went to the beach with my aunt, uncle, grandma, grandpa, my Dad, my Mom and my cousins. I played with my cousins. I rode my tube in the water. My uncle pushed me. It was fun !

[June, 3rd]

I saw waterfall and fish in the mountain. We walked over the bridge. I met birds, bugs, fishes, butterfly, people, trees, squrrels, and caterpillars. The caterpillar crawled on my daddy's shoulder. My daddy joked at me. I had a great time.

[June, 5th]

I was sick because on Saturday, it was cool at the park. I ate ice cream and it was yummy. My two teeth are moving. Today, I had a fever.

[June, 10th]

I went to the mountain with my Grandma and Grandpa. I went to the top of the mountain. My dad took a picture. We ate lunch. I hurt my knee. I had a great time.

[June, 13th]

I ate rice with my Mom. It was yummy. My Mom said "This is yummy". I ate a port cutlet. I stayed in my house. I drank orange juice. It was yummy. After I ate food, I watched TV in my house.

May's Celebrations

There are many celebration days in May. The first one is Children's day, 5th of May. Every children have a holiday and get some presents from his parents or grandparents. JungWoo got a book from his Daddy and Power Ranger's uniform from his Grandma. He was very happy to get Power Ranger's cloth. The second one is Parent's day, 8th of May. Every children prepare the carnation(which means thanks to their parents) flowers. JungWoo made a celebration card for his parents. Also, JungWoo's Dad and Mom prepare some presents for their parents. The last one is Teacher's day, 15th of May.
Last weekend, JungWoo's family went to JungWoo's mother side grandma's house. All cousins came to have a dinner. It was very fun.

I went to Daejeon with my Grandma. My Grandma came to my house. My Grandma ate dinner in my house. It was fun because I played.

I went to the movie theater. I watch Spiderman 3. It was fun. And if was funny because the black Spiderman is different.

JW's April's Diary

My package came to my house. I played hide-and-seek. It was very fun. There were 112 boxes. I had a Spiderman bag. Thomas trains, board games, a gumball machine, a sword, books, a bug vacuum, a lamp, cords, Legos and a car.

I broke the board with my hand. I did a great job. Everybody clapped and cheered. There were many people.

I went to the mountains. My Dad wore a Texas A&M shirt and blue jeans. I saw a butterfly, yellow flowers and pink flowers.

I went a picnic. It was fun. I played London bridge game with Kahlen teacher and John teacher, I went to the museum. I saw stumps, bear, tiger, birds and trees.

My mom came to Poly. She looked at how I did. Everyone's Moms came to Poly. I learned energy, power, electricity, current. It was fun because I get one sticker.

I went on a picnic. It was fun because I built a house with my cousin. I built it with pine needles. I met my Grandmas,Grandpas,aunts and uncles. My family arrived home late. I was sleepy.

Park

There is a beautiful park next to JungWoo's house. There is a track for the people's exercise. JungWoo enjoy riding a bicycle in the park. Actually, the park is a part of museum, "Prehistoric museum". Prehistoric people lived before there.

Blooming flowers

The wild flowers of Spring in Korea are the cherry blossoms(white color) and the forsythia(yellow color, wow! too difficult). There are no leaves until flowers are gone. So, we could not see any green color.


Most popular trees in Korea is pine tree. But, that pine tree is different that of pine tree, small and thin.

Going to the mountain

JungWoo and his Daddy went to the top of the mountain. Can you see the river behind them ? JungWoo said, "I want to be here with Lisa's family."

Easter egg hunt

JungWoo remembered Easter. Last year, he hunted some eggs. He is missing the egg hunting, so he decorated some eggs in his kindergarten. Look at his small hands.

JungWoo's uniform

JungWoo wear an uniform for his kindergarten. Now, he is waiting school bus. He want to show his uniform to his American friends. Julia ! What do you think about this uniform ?

White day

Have you ever heard about "White day" ? In Korea, there are Valentines' day and White day. As you know, Valaentines' day came from America, the 14th of February. White day was made by Korean people(I think Korean candy company), the 14the of March. The big difference between two day is that Valentines' day is for girl so boy gives some candy or chocolate for girl. White day is for boy so girl prepares candy or chocolate for boy.

I played a soccer. I played with a friend. I played with my friend Teddy. I ate a banana. It was yummy. We run back to the hill. We rode a scooter.

I read books. It was fun. Librarian gave me Pear and it was yummy. After we go to the library, We go to the playground and we ride seesaw and we ride a swing and I slide.

There is a small mountain next to JungWoo's house. It is a small mountain but has several health equipments for exercise and beautiful pine trees. Today was so cold that JungWoo put his winter hat.

We go to the mountain. I got something. I did a stretching. I met an older brother. My brother lives in my apartment.

JungWoo's room

JungWoo bought two Power ranger's masks, green and red. He has his own room after one-year america stay. His bed is car-shaped blue bed and he got new desk and bookshelves. When he got books from College Station, he can fill in his bookshelves. His favorite things in his room is his drawers with key rock.

I cleaned my drawers. My mom helped me cleaned up. I have to clean. I did a great job. Papa took a picture.

Today was JungWoo's birthday. He wanted to have his birthday party because he didn't have it in College Station. He was inviting his new friends in Poly school, new kindergarten.
(Some are born in America). JungWoo's Daddy made invitation card for his son. JungWoo's Mom made Korean sushi and prepared some cookies and fruits. She also made beautiful ballons for his son.
Even though JungWoo got some presents like toys, he think that the best present is celebrations from his lovely friends Julia, Alyssa and Hunter.


[JW's Diary]

We played with a ballon. My mom won and I won, too. My mom lose and I lose, too. I poped the ballon and made a another one and played a game with a ballon. It was fun.

Spring is coming

JungWoo made a small snowman in the morning. He was very happy because he had not see any snow in College Station. Everything was white and bright. He kept snowman in the refrigerator. He want to show it to his friends, Julia and her brothers and sister.
All snow melted in the afternoon because of sunlight. We felt that spring is coming. We can see beautiful flowers after a few weeks.

I watched the Berenstain Bears. I ate a bread. I went to the Taekwondo. I did a good job.

We are having snow !

JungWoo start to learn the Taekwondo as he learned in College Station. He really likes to go because he can meet many friends there. In Korea, the Taekwondo is most popular martial arts for children.

Tomorrow is JungWoo's Birthday. He will have his birthday party on Saturday. He wants to invite his friends in Kinder. I(JungWoo's Dad) made a invitation card for birthday party. JungWoo will give this ticket for party to his friends. That place has a Gym like Churkee Cheese in College Station. His mom will prepare a cake and some cookies. JungWoo want to invite his american friends, Julia, Alyssa, Hunter and Palmer.

In the beginning of March, we usually don't have snow. But, sometimes we have like this year.
We are calling that kind of cold weather as "Cold weather is jealous of the blooming flower". Next picture is the small hill next to JungWoo's house.

I went to the Taekwondo. I learned about punch. I played a game and it was fun. I had to jump through the hoop.

JungWoo Hong's house

New Bridge,

Can you see JungWoo's house ? JungWoo lives at 18th floor in that apartment building. The new bridge between small mountain and the park. He looks very happy because he want to show his smile to his friends, Julia, Alyssa, Hunter and lovely brother Palmer.

I went to the library. My mom talk to the neighbor. I told the librarian if there is a Power Ranger book.(Power Ranger is popular in Korea like Arthur in America.)

Going back to home from Seoul

We are going back to DaeJeon and it was raining. My Daddy was sleepy. My Daddy was tired. My Mom was sleepy, too. I watched the DVD in the car and it was the Berenstain Bears and it was fun.

Daddy's birthday

Today is my Daddy's birthday. We ate cake. I played with my cousins. I made a house with pillows. We watched the television

Kindergarten

JungWoo goes to English Kindergarten, Poly school. He has to use English in his Kinder. His new teachers are American and Korean-american. They could not use Korean in the Kinder. Today was his first day and he start to write his own diary like belows.

We are in the Gym. We played catch me if you can. Kahlen teacher was a big dinosaur. My friends were little dinosaurs. Turtle class came to play.
